Veterinarian, Co-owner

Jeannie Clark

Dr. Jeannie Clark is a native Texan who grew up in Santa Fe, TX. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Beef Cattle Management from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in Pomona, California. After veterinary school, Dr. Clark completed an intensive internship and a Critical Care Residency at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists in Glendale, WI. She went on to serve as a Critical Care Specialist at MedVet Houston and MissionVet Specialty and Emergency in San Antonio before co-founding Pawsitivity Veterinary Wellness. While her expertise lies in critical care—especially in ventilation, transfusions, coagulation, and sepsis—Dr. Clark’s heart is in helping pets return home to their families after critical illness. She has also contributed to veterinary research, including a publication on insulin absorption. You may ask why a Critical Care Specialist would pivot toward wellness care. For Dr. Clark, the answer is simple: she wants to help pet owners provide excellent, preventive care in the comfort of their homes—and at more accessible prices. As Pawsitivity grows, her advanced training enables the team to offer hospital-level care without always needing specialist referrals. Dr. Clark is also passionate about working with K-9 officers, EMS agencies, and veterinarians across all levels to support the best standards in animal emergency care and training.
